Nurse practitioner Carolyn Zaumeyer has been specializing in women’s health (gynecology) for more than 20 years. She is the author of two books and more than 27 publications, and is an established public speaker, appearing nationally and internationally at more than 80 conferences.
After establishing the first independent nurse practitioner practice in Florida in 1994, Carolyn has become a well-known expert and resource for nurse practitioners embarking on business ownership.
She currently provides quality care to women and men at her practice, Low TE Florida, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Her expertise includes general practice with a specialty in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), gynecology, weight loss, sclerotherapy, nutrition, and functional medicine.
Carolyn is dedicated to providing the highest level of compassion and care to her patients. She stresses a combined effort with her patients to help them develop and personalized strategy to promote health and wellness.
Over the years, Carolyn has served as an adjunct faculty member at Broward College, Florida International University, and Florida Atlantic University in their nursing and graduate studies programs.
She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the South Florida Council of Advanced Practice Nurses, Women in eCommerce, Women’s Executive Club, and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
Carolyn has been serving on the Advisory Board for the Nursing Leadership Fellowship Program at Duke University, sponsored by Johnson & Johnson for the past several years. She has served on the Business Advisory Council for the National Association of Women Business Owners (Ft. Lauderdale/Broward County). Carolyn was the first Bio-TE Medical Pellet Therapy Certified Provider in Florida. She sat on the Medical Advisory Board for Bio-TE Medical for several years. Carolyn is currently welcoming new female patients for Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy and male patient for Testosterone Therapy.
